Leap Year Storm

Today: Cloudy with periods of rain. High temp of 40 and low temp of 38.

I'm going to call it the Leap Year Storm...since today is February 29th!  We are expecting the rain from 11 AM - 6 PM, with the heaviest around 2 PM then we'll have some lingering showers until night time.  We might see some snowflakes, but not accumulating...that snowfall will be to our northern counties.

A Nice Start

Today: Sunny. High temp of 47 and low temp of 38.

We will have a nice start to the day with complete sunshine but look for building clouds for your evening time.  No PRECIP just yet....that will begin tomorrow around noon.  At this point it looks to be a rain event with heavy rain at times.  But we are just going to keep in mind that there is possibility that some of that can be ice.  Best time frame for the this Leap Year storm is noon until 7 PM then lingering showers until midnight.

So we did have the clouds today, BUT temperatures were still above average! To be EXACT...the last 12 days have been above average...so 40 degrees or warmer!  And long term, I think we'll stay on the "warm" side of things. We might have to struggle a little on Wednesday though, but I think we can pull off at least 40 degrees!

All this talk of above average temperatures makes me want to say goodbye to winter (and same with 2/3s of the groundhogs in the NJ/NY/PA area) and hello to spring!  So what better way to welcome spring in than by getting a makeover...at the Laura Mercier counter...in the mall! But she is a little pricey...so I had to open up a Lord & Taylor credit card to get 15% off my make up...but I got a free flawless face out of the deal. Anyone wanna go out tonight?!?!

It's February 2nd...that means Groundhog Day! The rules are if the groundhog doesn't see his shadow, he stays out and spring will come early and if the groundhog sees his shadow. he'll go back into the burrow and we'll have 6 more weeks of winter...
