Can you believe it, it's New Years Eve weekend already...and 2012 is 2 days away!? Enjoy these MILD temps....we're talking lows in the teens and highs in the 20s for 3 days in a row starting Monday night...  Hope you didn't put away your winter coat!

On Saturday...I'll be wearing my bracelet that represents new beginnings! --- a pink fading to purple ribbon with a silver symbol and some beads....got it from a "deals segment" one of the local stations did back in like September! (Love those segments!)

Can't wait for all the 2011 weather recaps! What an interesting year we've had. And December, one of the top 5 warmest ever and only 1 of 3 Decembers ever without snow since record keeping in 1868!

So the thing with the temperatures is that we already hit the high temperature this morning! But a cold front JUST came through this morning so temps will be knocked down...either way sunshine for today! But oh my wind! will it be windy today...winds 10-20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph!

Fall Or Winter?!

4 Days of Scarves:

Yes, I wore a scarf on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday :) It's the time of year when we need to swap the necklace for the scarf...& there are so many different ways you can wear them too!!

Coldest Of The Season

This weekend was the coldest of the season so far! But despite the cold...it has been sunny! And that sun with cool temps sticks around until Thursday, where we are watching the next chance for some rain.

Drink Of The Day:
[Skinny] Peppermint Mocha! No sugar ADDED (of course skim milk will have sugar, but op for sugar free syrups) and milk (so protein and calcium). So it totally sounds healthy...possibly a substitute for a daily glass of milk.  I also add an extra shot to get me through the day. And I also need to go to Target to search for these sugar free syrups...so I can make it at home :)

Hello December! It's December 1st! And it def feels like winter out there...especially with these winds!  But lots of sunshine :)

Bye Bye November

Today: Mostly sunny. Winds from the west at 10-15 gust up to 30. High temp of 54 and low temp of 46.

So now that the rain is over with (and same with November...bye bye November)....we'll have lots of sunshine and average temps (45-55) really until the start of next week.  And these temperatures have been a story all month long....


November Recap:
This has been one of our warmest Novembers...EVER!!! This month we've had 12 days in the 60s and 2 days in the 70s! Okay, average temp is 50 degrees! Feels like spring time! It def makes it hard to choose between a hot or iced coffee....

Now that temps are dropping, that doesn't mean your style has to drop! You can still show off your manicure AND keep warm...and swap a ring for pin! Yes, this all works and looks totally cute...it will only cost you a few bucks too...and its perfect for jazzing up a plain/boring pair of gloves.  We all have pins laying and have NO CLUE what to do with them...well dust them off!!! Happy Halloween! Today is the one day out of the year where you can be anything you want! Here your forecast to get you through the day today! :)

Also if your shoveling (you prob did it all yesterday....what a melt that took place yesterday! Barely had to shovel my deck!!!)....but for next time here's how you can look cute while doing such a heavy job!

The day after a snow storm is usually going to be pleasant with sunshine...so doing all those squats and moving around can be a workout.  So key is to dress warm, but light.
1. A hat that covers your ears - so the blowing snow doesn't give you the chills
2. A scarf for the same reason!
3. A hoodie (2 long sleeves underneath) not to heavy or bulky
4. Gloves - now these you can wear those water proof ones...but I decided to wear two...those cotton ones you can get for a dollar for a pack of 2 and another cotton pair, but heavy duty...they have leather strips on them.
5. Yoga pants - I have a pair of leggings underneath! LAYER LAYER LAYER!!
p.s my yoga pants have a pink stripe to match my hoodie :)
6. And of course my COACH snow boots ($100- Marshalls)

So the next time you HAVE to shovel...make it a fashion show, when else can you layer like that?!? :)

Recap The Nor'easter

Today: Mostly sunny.  High temp of 42 and low of 30.

We can def use today to melt SOME of that snow! But its time to recap the nor'easter...here's a simple explanation why we had all that snow....

The "L" is the low pressure and the arrows are pumping in all that moisture from the water...water temp about 60 degrees...so still relative warm compared to our 40 degree land temp...which is now cooled to 32 (freezing)...so another problem with that "L" is that there is another one down around FL...so all that moisture is being pumped up to our "L"! LOTS OF MOISTURE to work with!
